At the end of February, Betsy will step down from her role as executive vice president for programs and communications to become chief philanthropy officer at the Marin Community Foundation.

A pause as we develop a new vision for the visitation program will also enable the RBF to complete upgrades that expand public access to the entire Pocantico campus, including a visitor parking lot and a sculpture walk.

At this November’s COP 30, the RBF and more than 35 government and philanthropic funders announced the $1.8 billion Forest and Land Tenure Pledge.

The program will elevate the complex connections between climate, biodiversity, economy, and human wellbeing, with the goal of advancing development in harmony with nature.
