General Visitor Information
Kykuit tours begin at Historic Hudson Valley’s visitor center at Philipsburg Manor, 381 N Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY. HHV ticket holders will not be permitted to park on site at The Pocantico Center and must arrive with their tour group by shuttle bus.
Guests arriving for conferences, artist residencies, performances, and other public or community events may arrive by public transport or car. More detailed instructions will be communicated ahead of your stay as necessary. Please give yourself ample time for arrival and check in.
- Via Metro-North Railroad from Manhattan: From New York Grand Central, take the Metro-North Hudson line train to Tarrytown Station. (Trains run approximately every half hour on weekdays.) Taxis are available at the station or you can call an Uber/Lyft to 200 Lake Road, Tarrytown 10591. Start out going east on Depot Plaza toward S Depot Plaza. After .07 miles make a slight left onto White Street and then turn right onto Main Street, which becomes Neperan Road and then Old Saw Mill River Road. After approximately 1.75 miles, turn left onto Lake Road. Drive uphill for 0.6 miles to the main entrance on the left. There are no signs at the entrance, so proceed slowly. Enter through the gate on the far right and announce yourself to the security staff.

Handicapped parking is available at Pocantico and most public areas are wheelchair accessible. In addition, there are two ADA accessible bedrooms available for conference attendees. Bathrooms in these rooms are equipped with handrails. We welcome service animals trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities; please contact our staff in advance of your arrival to ensure proper arrangements. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted at Pocantico.
For some performances, shuttle buses equipped with wheelchair ramps bring guests to/from the performance site.
In keeping with the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s efforts to mitigate its carbon footprint, guests at Pocantico should dress comfortably for the season. Comfortable shoes are recommended for navigating the grounds. Read more about our sustainability efforts.
Guests may take photos and videos at The Pocantico Center for personal use only, with some restrictions. Guests may not take photos anywhere inside of Kykuit.
Photos of The Pocantico Center may not be used for commercial, editorial, or promotional purposes by any person or organization without the express written consent of The Pocantico Center's staff. The Pocantico Center does not allow commercial photo or film shoots for any reason.
Smoking is not permitted inside any building at The Pocantico Center.
Sculptures and Artwork
Guests are not permitted to touch, sit on, mount, or climb any sculptures, fountains, artwork, and historic architectural elements on the property.
The Pocantico Center does not permit private events such as weddings, parties, photo/film shoots, etc.
