Middle East Policy Network

New York, NY
United States

The Middle East Policy Network—better known as Al-Shabaka, The Palestinian Policy Network—fosters public discussion and debate on Palestinian human rights and self-determination within the framework of international law. Al-Shabaka (Arabic for “the network”) hosts an expanding roster of established and emerging Palestinian thinkers based in 20 countries across six continents to elevate fresh policy ideas on resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Al-Shabaka’s network of policy analysts and fellows publish reports, briefs, and commentaries that extend to subjects inseparable from just and durable peace, including water, energy, land usage, the economy, and public health.
