The Grounds of The Pocantico Center

Explore The Pocantico Center on a walking tour of the grounds, home to more than 90 outdoor sculptures. Arnaldo Ugarte, sculptor and sculpture conservation technician at Kykuit, provides a historical overview of the collection at Pocantico with a special focus on maintenance and care. Visitors will enjoy the results of result conservation projects, including newly restored works by Jean Dubuffet and Alexander Liberman, as well as other monumental sculptures by twentieth-century masters. The rain date for this event is Wednesday, July 20.

Tickets to all Pocantico events must be obtained in advance on our website. ALL TICKET HOLDERS must show proof of vaccination and a valid picture ID upon check-in.

Arnaldo Ugarte

Arnaldo Ugarte is a Honduran-born sculptor and a sculpture conservation technician at Kykuit.  His work includes maintaining the outdoor sculpture collection and assisting with other art related projects. He studied sculpture at the Pratt Institute and has worked in art conservation in foundries and other institutions, including the Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Park at Pepsi-Co.
