POSTPONED: HallowDreamz Presents "Existence"

with Brian “HallowDreamz” Henry

David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at Pocantico

Tickets: $15 (+$1.75 ticketing fee)

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Brian “HallowDreamz” Henry presents a work-in-process showing of Existence, a dance performance that depicts Krump drenched in positive intention. The audience will explore the development of Krump, its myriad layers of culture, and its shared community. Though Krump, like life, has its hardships, Existence focuses on unity, freedom, empowerment, creativity, love, and joy.

Existence was commissioned by Works & Process and was developed in Works & Process LaunchPAD residencies at Bethany Arts Community (2022) and The Pocantico Center (2023).

The event will be followed by a reception with special access to the DR Center gallery, currently showing Inspired Encounters: Women Artists and the Legacies of Modern Art.

The snow date for this event is Friday, January 13.
