Trumpeter and flugelhornist Mark Morganelli and the Jazz Forum All-Stars will celebrate the iconic Miles Davis by performing selections from their recent CD, For Miles, recorded in Torino, Italy. This concert, like the recording, will focus on Miles’ 1950s work and includes Miles’ own compositions as well as cherished standards that he helped popularize.

Mark Morganelli
Trumpeter and flugelhornist Mark Morganelli has recorded six albums, most recently For Miles, recorded in March 2023 in Italy, and Brasil!, released in 2019. He has performed at the Montreux, JVC-New York, Syracuse, and Saratoga jazz festivals and has toured in Italy for the past thirty-five years. Morganelli has also played with Dizzy Gillespie, Paquito D’Rivera, James Moody, and Houston Person.
