This event is sold out.

Go inside Marcel Breuer’s iconic “country home for the commuter” to explore its history and restoration. Designed and constructed for a 1948 exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, the house was later purchased by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and reassembled as a guest house on the family estate, where today it hosts artist residents of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Katrina London, manager of collections and curatorial projects at The Pocantico Center, will lead guests in a tour to examine Breuer’s Bauhaus-inspired architecture, as well as the art and furnishings adorning its interiors.

COVID-19 VISITOR REQUIREMENTS:

All tickets must be purchased in advance online. ALL TICKET HOLDERS must show proof of vaccination and wear masks in all indoor spaces at The Pocantico Center. Proof of vaccination and a valid picture ID must be presented upon check-in.
