Home Movies: The Rockefeller Family at Pocantico

Abeyton Lodge at Pocantico

Tickets: $15

This event is sold out.

A collection of home movies offers a glimpse into the Rockefeller family’s life at Pocantico in the 1920s and ’30s. The Rockefeller Archive Center has recently restored and digitized this rarely seen historic footage to illuminate the private lives of one of America’s best-known families.

The Archive’s audiovisual archivist, Brent Phillips, and assistant director, Michele Hiltzik Beckerman, will present a selection of the home movies accompanied by newsreels from the era for this inaugural public program at Abeyton Lodge, formerly known as the Playhouse. In celebration of Women’s History Month, the presentation will highlight the women of the Rockefeller family.

After the screening, the hosts will take questions from the audience. A reception will follow.
