Michelle Macias is the outreach and engagement associate at The Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. She supports public programming, communications, partnerships, and community outreach efforts that promote greater access to and engagement with The Pocantico Center’s programmatic offerings.
Ms. Macias brings experience in community engagement and partnership building to this role.
Prior to joining the RBF, Michelle worked in cultural and museum settings in programming, operations, and visitor engagement. As assistant director of the Van Cortlandt House Museum in the Bronx, she helped to plan and execute exhibitions, public programs, and events, design public-facing assets, and manage social media. Her work centered on creating and supporting cultural experiences through audience engagement, relationship-building, and cross-sector collaboration. She also served as store manager, visual merchandiser, and buyer at the Morgan Library Museum & Library.
Ms. Macias works to support expanding access to arts and cultural experiences across communities.
