Three National Trust Historic Sites now have new leaders at the helm. Meredith Sorin Horsford was named the new executive director of The Pocantico Center, which includes National Trust Historic Site Kykuit, following the retirement of Judy Clark, who was with Pocantico for nearly 40 years.

Heintz, 73, who has led the $1.4 billion grant maker since 2001, positioned RBF as a significant player in efforts to fight climate change, establish peace abroad, and strengthen democracy in the United States.

Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate in Pocantico Hills, was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family. Built in 1913 as a country retreat for John D. Rockefeller, the estate's name translates to “lookout” in Dutch, aptly reflecting its sweeping views of the Hudson River.
