Fund Elects Marsha Simms to the Board of Trustees

NEW YORK, NY (March 11, 2010) - The Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) is pleased to announce the election of Marsha Simms to the Fund's board of trustees, effective March 10, 2010.  Ms. Simms is a partner in Weil, Gotshal & Manges' Banking and Finance Group in its corporate department.  She has been appointed to serve a three-year term.

"I look forward to working with such an engaged board and talented staff that is investing in the future of our world," said Ms. Simms.

Ms. Simms practices in the areas of debt financing and restructuring.  From 2001 to 2009, she was recognized by Chambers Global as one of the "World's Leading Lawyers" in the area of banking and finance.  Currently, Ms. Simms is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section's Editorial Board of The Business Lawyer,  the ABA's Commission on Women in the Profession, and the Audit Committee of the New York City Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Simms is a life member of the board of trustees of the Educational Broadcasting Corporation (Channel 13), a member of the Executive Committee of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and a former trustee of the Stanford Alumni Association.
