Dancers from the American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company Grace the Pocantico Stage

On June 11, 2018, the young dancers of the American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company presented five works on the al fresco stage at The Pocantico Center. The program included “Le Jeune,” excerpts from “The Leaves are Fading,” “Giselle,” and “William Tell,” as well as an untitled work set to a piano concerto by Philip Glass. The Studio Company offers highly talented young dancers an environment to hone their skills and prepare for a career with the ABT or other leading professional dance companies.

In September, the Studio Company’s dancers will participate in a week-long residency and be joined by an emerging choreographer to create a new work, as part of a larger initiative of the Culpeper Arts & Culture program to foster new talent in dance.

More photos from the dancers’ performance in June, as well as the post-program reception on Kykuit's terrace, can be found on our Facebook page. All photos are by Frederick Charles.

Information on upcoming performances is at www.rbf.org/events.
