Richard Rockefeller Fellowship Resumes after Two-Year Hiatus
This fall, the RBF welcomes Ada Kong and Songqiao Yao, two outstanding young professionals from China, as the 2022 Richard Rockefeller Fellows. The annual Fellowship program was suspended in 2020-21 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Bringing a wide range of experience in the environmental field—including campaigning, research, and entrepreneurship—the 2022 fellows will explore American social sector practices during their four-month stay in the United States. They will meet with philanthropic leaders and institutions around the country, participate in trainings, and be immersed in RBF organizational culture.
Established in 2016 by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Lao Niu Brother Sister Foundation, the Richard Rockefeller Fellowship aims to strengthen collaborative ties between the U.S. and Chinese philanthropic sectors and support young Chinese leaders to learn about strategic philanthropy.
