Join us for an intimate reflection on Portraits of Process with renowned sculptor Ed Smith, whose hands are among the bronze casts in the exhibition now on display at the DR Center.
Part lecture and part guided tour, this event will feature Smith’s personal anecdotes about some of the artists in the show and his interpretations of the psychological portraits that comprise the exhibition. Some of Smith’s stories and observations may be humorous and reflect the close ties and admiration Smith has for the subjects. The dialogue will emphasize the eternal renown of artists throughout time.
A reception will follow the event.
