Michael Quattrone

Trustee, Nominating Committee Chair

Michael Quattrone serves as Board Chair of the David Rockefeller Fund, a family foundation dedicated to fostering and embodying a more just, creative, and flourishing world through catalytic grantmaking and advocacy, to support ecological regeneration, justice system reform, and art for social impact.

He is a founder and director of Hearthfire, a nonprofit retreat center in Pocantico Hills, New York. Hearthfire encourages the myth-making potential of artists in service to personal and communal evolution.

Michael’s love and philanthropic support of the arts are rooted in his own creative practice. He is the author of the award-winning poetry chapbook, Rhinoceroses. He also performs and records original music with the fluid, cross-disciplinary ensemble, One River.

Michael is a fifth-generation member of the Rockefeller family.
