Kerem Omurtag

Digital Communications Specialist

Kerem Omurtag is the Digital Communications Specialist at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Prior to joining the RBF, Kerem worked at Telos Group, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. that advocates for peacemaking across lines of difference regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict. His work at Telos supported communications and political advocacy, helping to expand the organization’s presence both online and on Capitol Hill. During his tenure, Kerem met with the offices of several Members of Congress to advocate for Telos policy initiatives.

Kerem holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Business and Marketing from the Berklee College of Music, where, as both a musician and freelance career strategist, he worked alongside artists to help build their brand identity and establish their digital career trajectories.

Kerem’s interests in peacebuilding, social justice, and policy-related work began in eighth grade, when during a class trip to Washington, D.C., he met the late Congressman John Lewis.
