Stephen Heintz Appointed to Serve on Key National Indicators Commission
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has appointed RBF President Stephen Heintz to serve on the Commission on Key National Indicators. The bipartisan Commission is charged with overseeing the implementation of the Key National Indicator System, which will be executed by the National Academy of Sciences. The system is an initiative to track the nation’s progress using data, and findings will be available to the public online. The Commission includes a total of eight appointees selected by Congressional leaders.
