Climate Interactive’s Analysis of Climate Pledges is Featured by The New York Times

Ahead of the Paris conference on climate change, The New York Times showcased an interactive feature on its homepage on November 23, 2015, to explain how pledges by countries to reduce carbon dioxide emissions will affect global temperatures. “The Climate Change Pledges Are In. Will They Fix Anything?” used data and scenarios from a simulation model built by RBF grantee Climate Interactive with MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Climate Interactive and its partners developed the Climate Scoreboard, a data visualization tool, and C-ROADS, an award-winning computer simulation, to analyze the impact of the pledges countries have made to limit their greenhouse gas emissions.
