American Academy of Arts and Sciences Elects Stephen Heintz
Stephen Heintz has been elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious honorary societies. Founded during the American Revolution by John Adams, James Bowdoin, and John Hancock among other prominent figures, the Academy recognizes the most influential leaders from science, scholarship, business, public affairs, and the arts, and carries out nonpartisan policy research on social, political, and intellectual topics in response to the needs and problems of society. Mr. Heintz has been elected to the class of Public Affairs, Business and Administration in the section of Educational, Scientific, Cultural and Philanthropic Administration. He will be inducted along with nearly 200 others in October 2013.
