The Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (Clean Air Asia) works to improve air quality and address the health, climate change, energy, and transport implications of air pollution. Working with local partner organizations in China, it targets audiences that are unfamiliar with the intersections between climate change and air pollution, including the corporate sector.

Clean Air Asia supports China’s efforts to decarbonize its economy by promoting emissions reduction and air quality improvement tactics. Its work in China has helped building the technical capacity of national and municipal authorities to create systematic and effective pollution reduction strategies. Through its research, training, and education campaigns, Clean Air Asia has contributed to significant air quality improvements in China, particularly since the infamous ‘airpocalypse’ of 2013.
