The Rockefeller Brothers Fund advances social change that contributes to a more just, sustainable, and peaceful world. Its grantmaking is organized in three thematic programs that support work in the United States and at the global level: Democratic PracticePeacebuilding, and Sustainable Development, and in three pivotal place programs that address these themes in specific contexts: New York CitySouthern China, and the Western Balkans.  The Fund supports efforts to expand knowledge, clarify values and critical choices, nurture creative expression, and shape public policy.
