Abstract

Most Albanian business leaders believe philanthropic activity helps to make their companies more successful, with 62 percent of the nearly 150 companies surveyed active in giving. Rockefeller Brothers Fund grantee Partners Albania, Center for Change and Conflict Management conducted a three-month survey of philanthropic activity by Albanian enterprises, and has published a report of its analysis and recommendations. It suggests that better tax incentives, more public recognition, and educating the public about corporate social responsiblity would help in creating a more supportive environment for giving.
