Gail Fuller
Gail L. Fuller is director of communications at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. She joined the Fund in May 2005 to provide leadership to the development and implementation of the Fund's overall communications strategy.
With 24 years of marketing and communications experience, Ms. Fuller's career has spanned several industries, including nonprofit, corporate, publishing, and sports. Prior to joining the Fund, Ms. Fuller served as senior director, marketing and community relations for United Way of New York City. She began her career with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority where she learned firsthand about crisis communications and global marketing. During her time in sports, she was assistant director of corporate communications for the Orlando Magic—concentrating communications efforts on the business, marketing, and community relations initiatives of the organization. Ms. Fuller also served as a public relations consultant for AT&T, handling all communications for Central and North Florida.
She has received several awards, including the Walt Disney World's Community Service Award for the Orlando Chamber's Minority Business Development Program. She is also a two-time YMCA Black Achiever honoree having received the Central Florida YMCA Black Achiever Award and the YMCA Greater New York-Harlem Branch Black Achievers in Industry Award for her accomplishments—both in her field and the community. She currently serves on several communication committees and advisory boards, including the Independent Sector, Philanthropy New York, and Public Policy Communicators-NYC.
Ms. Fuller holds a Master of Business Administration from Nova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Wake Forest University.
