To support its conservation and Ecosystem-Based Management work in British Columbia to support efforts to: ensure that protected areas along the BC coast are effectively established and managed; leverage further pressure for the rigorous adoption of all elements of Ecosystem-Based Management, including logging practices; and, ensure that sufficient, long-term conservation financing is in place to enable a smooth transition towards a conservation-based economy for communities within the Great Bear Rainforest.
